News 19.10.2009

I`ve started to write at the history page from "Sandefjords" time as a rescue vessel in the NSSR. More text and pictures will come.

News 01.10.2009

I`ve changed the layout so both the English and Norwegian text are at the same page. English text are blue.

(English text below)

English:

"Sandefjord" is one of Colin Archers remaining sailing rescue-vessels. She was launched in 1913 and her first stationing was between Stavern-Haugesund. Most of the time her life has been very exciting and eventful.

Among other things during her time after being a rescuevessel, she has completed a circumnavigation, stayed several years in Cape Town and she also has participated in regattas in different parts of the world.

She has had a happy life with her past owners, and we feel very privileged to get the responsibility of taking care of her from now on! Thank you to Gunn von Trepka and her family for giving us this possibility.
